&lt;p>In this post I share some insights of what is my current understanding of Test Driven Development. Additionally, I review some materials I recently encountered on this matter.&lt;/p>
&lt;h2 id="context">Context&lt;/h2>
&lt;p>Test Driven Development and Pair Programming were practices that always attracted me. They seem to be pretty neglected in our industry (at least in places I had opportunity to work so far) but I see a lot of benefits coming from them. They are pretty young though (~20 years) - let&amp;rsquo;s remember, that &lt;a href="https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2015/01/12/375663920/the-doctor-who-championed-hand-washing-and-saved-women-s-lives" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreffer ">it took 30 years to convince people about washing hands&lt;/a>
. So there is
